The short version
Your content stays yours. We never sell it or use emails, files or meetings to train shared AI models.
The assistant acts only on your approval. Every action is logged to a verifiable audit trail.
You stay in control. Access, export or delete your data and disconnect integrations anytime.
01Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Silvia, Inc. collects, uses and protects information when you use our AI assistant, websites and related services.
When your organization uses Silvia to process inbox, calendar, meetings and knowledge content, your organization is the data controller and Silvia acts as a data processor.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate the Service and prepare work for your approval.
Account details such as name, work email, organization and role.
Billing and support information needed to administer the account.
Content from connected tools, including email, calendar, meetings and knowledge sources you authorize.
Usage, device, audit and security logs.
03How we use it
We use information for clear, limited purposes.
To run the Service and prepare verified actions.
To authenticate users, prevent abuse and maintain the audit trail.
To support customers, fix problems and understand aggregate usage trends.
To send service notices and meet legal obligations.
04Your data & the assistant
Silvia sells verified actions, not infinite automation, and that principle shapes how we handle data with AI.
No training on your content for shared or foundation models.
Drafts and actions are staged for review unless you deliberately enable an automation rule.
Every prepared action records sources, reasoning summary and approval.
AI subprocessors are vetted and bound by data-protection terms.
05Sharing & subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Subprocessors help us run cloud hosting, model generation and analytics.
Your own integrations receive approved actions within the scopes you grant.
Legal or safety recipients receive information only when required.
A successor entity may receive information under the protections of this policy.
06Data retention
Account and content data is retained for the life of your subscription. When an organization closes its account, we delete or anonymize customer content within 30 days except where law requires retention.
07Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, continuous monitoring and a maintained audit trail. Enterprise plans add SSO, SAML, SCIM and data-loss-prevention controls.
08Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, export, delete or restrict personal information and object to certain processing. You can exercise most rights in your account or by contacting us.
09International transfers
Silvia operates globally. When we transfer personal data out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. EU and US data-residency options are available on Enterprise.
10Cookies & tracking
Our website uses essential cookies for sign-in and analytics cookies for aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
11Changes to this policy
When changes are material, we notify you by email or in-product and post the current version here.
